The ShareIn team has grown quickly over the last couple of years. It’s our amazing people that make the magic happen. In our meet the team section we aim to tell you a little more about the people behind the scenes. This week we talked to Gabor Buzasi.
Who are you?
I’m Gabor. I moved to Scotland in 2014 straight after graduating from my high school in Hungary to start my further education and career in software engineering. It’s the graduate apprenticeship scheme that brought me to Edinburgh, which lets you study and work at the same time, something that I preferred to do as opposed to conventional university studies.
What do you do at ShareIn?
I have been working as a back-end software developer at ShareIn since 2017. I’m mainly responsible for implementing new features or products to ShareIn’s offering and making sure that we’re delivering these to our production environments seamlessly.
What is unique about ShareIn’s technology?
ShareIn has just launched a product called ShareInPay which is a payment services platform especially targeted at businesses involved with ISA investments. It is also built with the latest .NET Core cross platform framework which has been well received for its performance.
What’s something you would like to tell people about ShareIn that perhaps they don’t know?
ShareIn is now in the process of moving to a more modular based product approach which means that we will be able to offer various standalone services in the form of Web APIs. This will allow our customers to pick and choose the products they would like to integrate with.
Tell us an interesting fact about you?
I enjoy cycling and hillwalking in my free time but am also committed to challenging my creativity and knowledge by competing in hackathons around Europe. I have been admitted to one of the largest events in Europe called HackJunction, which will be organised in Helsinki, Finland with around 1500 participants from around the world.
